The Best Oils For Your Skin Type

My love of oils are very serious, unlike a typical moisturizer you know the ingredients and god forbid you get a breakout or irritation, it is much easier to change products. There are a lot of oils, A LOT, so I wanted to create a short list of oils, that are good for different skin types, and are non comedogenic. When most people think of oils they think it is going to clog their skin, but it is less likely too than a moisturizer, as long as you get the right one!

1 out of 5 comedogenic rating, very stable like jojoba oil. Best for Normal, to Oily skin types, does not feel oily. Packed with omega 9 fatty acids, helps even skin tone and texture. It comes from a mustard plant, it calms inflammation, and promotes collagen production, all while not being heavy!

1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. Medium thickness so I would recommend for dry, damaged skin, due to the fact that you will FEEL this oil. More so for someone who likes a thick night treatment. It has a green tint so be careful with pillow cases! Full of vitamin c, polyphenols, and minerals.

Yes the oil that everyone and their mama knows about! It is 0 out of 5 comedogenic rating, so it is a safe oil to start of with. Treats acne, scarring, and regulates oil production, also has vitamin e. Diminishes wrinkles, creates softer and smoother skin, reduces scarring and stretch marks, relieves eczema and psoriasis, repairs damaged hair, compatible with any skin and hair type

0-1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. Good for dry, damaged, sensitive skin. It actually helps calm rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. Rich in antioxidants, and polyphenols, omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids.

0-1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. Good for oily skin, high in antioxidants and helps to reduce pores. Also good at combatting acne. High in vitamin c, omega 3, and 6 fatty acids, along with vitamin e.

0-1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. Power house of antioxidants, and absorbs quickly! One of my favorite oils for the oil cleansing method. Vitamins a, b, c, e, and omega 3 fatty acids.

1 out of 5 comedogenic rating, BUT BE CAREFUL! Castor oil will make skin purge, meaning if you have acne that wants to get out, it will come out! It is an extremely drying oil, funny I know. I would only recommend for oily skin, and even then I would still dilute it.

1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. Stops dead skin build up, which helps smooth out the skins texture. Ideal for acne, combo skin.

1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. High in phytosterols, which strengthen the lipid barrier. By repairing the skins barrier, it helps to reduce redness and inflammation.

1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. Mimics the skins fatty acid ratio perfectly, making it able to penetrate all the way to the dermis. Excellent at carrying herbs and other actives, to further enhance its effects.

1 out of 5 comedogenic rating. True organic rosehip has a yellow/orange tint so be careful with pillow cases. It has a high amount of vitamin a, making it mother natures retinol. It fades hyper pigmentation, scars, and helps smooth out the skins texture.
